  • Wooly Mammoth Tooth knife: (inlay has a cross section of lines) Of all the animals that lived during the last Ice Age, the Woolly Mammoth is one of the best known. The material in the knife handle is a section of a tooth from a Woolly Mammoth – one that lived around 15,000 years ago.  Closed 3” lockback with a 2 1/4" blade.

There is a limited supply of the tooth which comes from Siberia.

  • Dino knife: (Inlay has a cross section that looks like pebbles) The handle has a section of petrified bone form a sauropod (brontosaurus) that lived over 150 million years ago. Closed 3" lockback has a 2 1/4" blade of 440 stainless steel.

  • Turquoise Vein with Damascus Steel knife: The power of water, wind and time have worked it's magic at the Nacozari Mine in Sonora, Mexico, just south of Bisbee, Arizona. These forces have created beautiful Vein Turquoise, which runs like a river sandwiched between canyon walls. The host rock, or boulder, offers a wonderful contrast to the Vein Turquoise that it surrounds. Closed 3” lockback has a 2/14” Damascus blade.

  • Mammoth Tusk and Turquoise Inlay Damascus Steel knife: The material in these knife handles is Woolly Mammoth Tusk, the undersides of Woolly Mammoth Tusks often show wear, suggesting that they were used in scraping snow and ice off of the ground cover of vegetation during feeding. They also used their tusks for protection from predators, attraction during mating and as a display of dominance to other Woolly Mammoths. Closed 3” lockback has a 2/14” Damascus blade.

Damascus Steel is characterized by it's strength, edge holding ability, and it's dramatic appearance. The Damascus Steel used in Santa Fe Stoneworks knives comes from Japan and is called "Damascus" or Sandwich Damascus. There is a core of vg-10 steel with 16 layers of stainless steel on each side to produce a rust free Damascus look blade.
